What Parent Coaching Looks Like

Introductory Phone Consultation

Start by purchasing a 30-minute, introductory phone consultation. You’ll schedule a time that works for you and complete a short online pre-consultation form before the call. During the call, we’ll discuss your questions and provide at least one evidence-based recommendation. The fee for this consultation is $40. (Feel free to check out our FAQ ahead of time.) *Parents of our partner schools receive one 30-minute introductory phone consultation complimentary of our partnership. Ask your school director for a promo code to enter at checkout.

In-Home Assessment Visit

One of our highly experienced consultants will come to your home for an initial assessment. During this 90-minute assessment, you and your child will interact with our consultant, as they discover where the unwanted behavior is coming from and what the best next steps will be.

Our goal is to leave you with at lease one strategy that your child responds positively to, and then start working on a next-steps action plan. You’ll also receive a written plan of action, two workshop videos and access to our current monthly webinars throughout our time working with you, even when you complete in-home support and move to phone support. The fee for the assessment visit is $750 for the visit and materials.

Follow-Up Visits

From here, we’ll schedule at least two 60-minute follow-up visits. We’ll also give you additional written, personalized summaries of our recommendations for each visit that you’ll be able to use for years to come. We’ll schedule additional follow-up visits if necessary. The cost of follow-ups is $450 per visit, with most families reaching their goals in 3-6 total visits (including assessment).

Worried you might get stuck in between visits? Not a problem! We’re available by text and email to trouble shoot along the way.

Phone Coaching

Many families graduate to phone support after just a few visits. Phone support is a bit like the training wheels on a bike…it gives you the support you need to ride on your own while you’re still getting your balance. These sessions generally last about 30 minutes each. The fee for phone coaching is $300 for a total of two hours of phone support. You will continue to receive access to the webinars and online resources during this time.

Virtual Coaching

Sometimes you’re ready to move on from in-home coaching but still need a little more support than phone coaching offers. By using video conferencing technology we can see what’s happening in your home and interact with you and your child in real time. Not all families need virtual coaching. The fee for virtual coaching is $375 per visit.
